In our HD Theatre ‘Beyond the Frozen Sunset’ plays on the massive screen continuously. This is a film not to be missed – our penguins give it two flippers up.

Shot by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Mike Single, this 17-minute documentary captures the heart of Antarctica’s breathtaking natural beauty.

The film follows a seasonal arc from sunset to sunrise, weaving in its path elements of immensity that make up this earth’s most remote and inhospitable continent.

Taking in the magic of the Aurora Australis, the spirit-filled historic huts and the overwhelming vastness of the polar plateau, it is an incredible viewing experience. Which may explain why many visitors enjoy a second look – there’s so much crystal-clear detail to take in.
