FREE Penguin Express

The Penguin Express is the Antarctic Centre's FREE shuttle transporting visitors to and from Christchurch's i-SITE. Please note that the actual shuttle pickup and dropoff stop is located a block away from i-SITE diagonally opposite the Christchurch Art Gallery on the corner of Montreal St & Worcester St. The shuttle also calls at Heartland Hotel Cotswold in Papanui Rd.

The Penguin Express is a service ONLY FOR visitors to the Antarctic Centre. Please note it is not a free method of transport to and from Christchurch Airport.

The Penguin Express timetable is:

Depart city (Montreal & Worcester Sts corner):

on the hour from 10am to 4pm

Depart Heartland Hotel Cotswold (note the stop is OVER THE ROAD) from the hotel:

on the 5 mins past the hour from 10:05am to 4:05pm

Depart Antarctic Centre

on the half hour from 10:30am to 4:30pm
