Snow and Ice Experience

Chill out in REAL snow & ice!

This safe all-weather indoor polar room is chilled to -5 degrees celsius and is fun for all ages!

Slide down an icy slope, shelter in an ice cave, brave the wind chill machine at -18 degrees celsius, or get 'exchillarated' in the Antarctic Storm that blows every 30 minutes.

Warm jackets and overshoes are provided.  The Snow & Ice Experience is a must for all visitors especially those who have never been in snow before.

Brace yourself for the world's first indoor storm!

The Antarctic Storm blows every hour from 9.30am during the week, and every half hour from 9.30am on the weekends.

The storm takes place in the Snow and Ice Experience and comes complete with stunning lighting, authentic Antarctic blizzard audio and 40 km/h winds.

Visitors from colder climates will wonder what the fuss is about! Vistors from temperate parts of the world will appreciate the novelty of experiencing a simulated Antarctic blizzard but without the freezing snow.
