Luggage StorageFor visitors en route to and from the airport, coin-operated secure luggage lockers are available for hire outside the front of the attraction.
These lockers come in a variety of volumes accommodating a range of bag sizes.
Charges for luggage lockers are $2.50 for up to 3 hours or $3.50 for up to 5 hours.

Audio Guide tours are available in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, German, French, Spanish and Mandarin.
The English tour is narrated by the late Sir Edmund Hillary.
These lightweight audio guides will enhance your experience by providing a comprehensive commentary through the indoor attraction.
A special children’s tour is also available.
Audio Guide hire is $5 per unit and can be booked with your ticket below.
Penguin Express ShuttleThe Penguin Express is the Antarctic Centre's FREE shuttle to transport visitors between the city and the attraction.
The shuttle pick-up and drop-off stop in the city is located outside the Museum in Rolleston Ave.
The Penguin Express is a service ONLY FOR visitors to the Antarctic Centre.
The Penguin Express timetable from the 20th February 2017 is as follows:
Depart Antarctic Centre for City – (8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm)
8.20am-Commodore: Bus stop number 17085, Opposite Commodore Hotel.
8.30am-Westside Motor Lodge: Bus stop number 37745, outside Westside motor lodge, 298 Riccarton road.
8.35am-Riccarton Shops: Bus stop between Division St and Rimu St.
8.40am-Double Tree Hotel: Bus stop Number 10116, outside Double tree Hotel, opposite Towers on the park.
8.48am-Arrive at Museum: By the seat, Outside Christs College, next to the Museum.
Depart City for Antarctic Centre – (9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm)
9.00am-Depart museum: By the seat, Outside Christs College, next to the Museum.
9.05am-Colombo St: Bus stop number 14990, Opposite City Centre Motel.
9.15am-Heartland: Bus stop number 41437, outside Randolph Hotel, 79 Papanui Road.
9.25am-Elms Hotel: Opposite the Elms Hotel, at the bus stop, outside of KFC.
9.30am-Top 10 Holiday Park: Outside the reception area.
9.45am-Roydvale Street: Bus stop number 10723, Outside Aarburg Airport Hotel.
9.47am-Commodore Hotel: Bus stop number 17564, Outside Commodore Hotel.
9.50am- International Antarctic centre.
This schedule is based on the bus departing the Antarctic centre at 8.00am. The bus service will have 5 runs daily, times are as follows.
8.00am, 10.00am, 12.00pm, 2.00pm, and 4.00pm
(Please note that due to continued roadworks in the CBD, timetable may not always run exactly to schedule)
Until the 20th February the shuttle will leave from outside the Canterbury Museum on the hour from 9am – 5pm.
It will leave the attraction on the half hour from 9.30 – 5.30pm.
